Naughty Dog announced today that it’s delaying The Last of Us Part 1 for PC until March 28, 2023. The release will follow the game on PlayStation 5 launch last year and roughly coincide with the wrap-up of season one of the HBO series.
We want to make sure that The Last of Us Part I PC debut is in the best shape possible. These additional few weeks will allow us to ensure this version of The Last of Us lives up to your, and our, standards. We are so excited to bring The Last of Us Part I to a new platform, reaching new and returning players with Joel and Ellie’s unforgettable story of survival, and we hope that you’ll continue to look forward to its PC release on March 28.
The remake, which adds things like improved graphics and faster load times, launched first on PlayStation 5 in September. Game fans still waiting to hear about some of the PC-specific upgrades, but if they’re anything like what Sony has added to other PC ports, there will probably be some great added features.
